Now, the Luciferian forces INSIDE The ORTHODOX CHURCH IN AMERICA are hell bend on smearing him, destroying his reputation. What fool dares stand against the Scientistic Dictatorship Elite and their new morality???!!!!
Curse you Metropolitan Jonah, The Luciferian Forces Say:
In its quest to find something — anything — in their obsessive quest to destroy His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah, operatives in Syosset (the headquarters of the Orthodox Church In America) found an old rape allegation, NOT against Jonah mind you, but against a priest who happened to be living in Washington. This priest was never in the OCA. They wrote an inept and irresponsible letter with the false charge that Jonah covered up the alleged rape.
The letter calls into question their veracity, intentions, and intelligence. They have thrown the OCA into a crisis of the highest order and show no signs of stopping.
Even worse, they never considered that in their Ahab-like quest to destroy His Beatitude, they would hurt another human being.
Yesterday I published a letter form this woman’s godmother, who wished to set the record straight. I applaud her courage. The family of the victim took umbrage at Syosset’s scurrilous claim and determined that the victim’s experience would not be used to destroy another innocent person. The record has been clarified and Syosset’s story is demolished.
The facts are now in circulation. No more needs to be said about this incident. In order to protect the people involved, all comments that mention this incident will be removed. They have suffered enough.
At this point, the broader, more troubling question is this: what new and scurrilous accusations will these same operatives bring forward in order to further blacken the name of our Metropolitan? When will they realize that enough is enough? Why Would They Do This? — Monomakhos www.monomakhos.com
You may call me cynical
if you like, but I would bet important body parts that was the exact
same reaction Dietrich Bonhoeffer got when he stood up against the
NAZI-compliant clergy of his day; when he saw the deadly lying forces
that had taken control of the public square, when he saw the
Christian Churches being turned into NAZI propaganda outlets, with the
very Icons of the faith turned to NAZI symbols.
Today they are much more sophisticated, the symbol less obvious but a thousand times more powerful to the unguarded psyche of the masses. As far as the “set to win – set to lose” scenario between the Republican and Democrat parties. Have you seen the expose' about the Iconographic imagery of the Obama v McCain campaigns, Bill Whittle did? He is awake. Bill Whittle thinks the Republican National Committee is inept. I think they are rather "compliant."
The people duped by the political kabuki play the Scientistic
Dictatorship is using to herd us against our will into the Brave New
World Order, are asleep, herded like cattle into the waiting
livestock rail cars, headed for their vacation in the country, just a
temporary thing, you know “until the national crisis is over.”
The events of the last ten years in the U.S., are identical to the
1930s in Germany, where the democratic system was used to create a
dictatorship. Where most brainwashed people's observation fails them now,
when feeling the pain, the oppression, the coming carnage and viewing the present abuses of “Obama-Power,”
is that they are guilty of giving him that power, because they were
willing to give the power to Uncle George who pledged to "keep them safe." Who pledge to use extra-constitutional powers, "just until the national crisis was over." George the amiable buffoon the right could not fear, whom they cheered on and felt toward him, like he was the family bad boy make
good.
HE and the republican congress, which held office with near
absolute power for SIX years, put in place all the Laws that
Obama-Power has used to take us down. The Scientistic Dictatorship
elite of the New World Order have played the stupid right-wing and
the stupid left-wing, and the feckless and apathetic "radical middle" like a fiddle. While they promised Liberty they gave us slavery; and STILL at this point when ALL guarantees of
personal Liberty are abolished, and the Federal Government has been
given unlimited powers of coercion through taxation and for eleven
years the Executive Branch has governed under a constant state of
“national emergency” under the “Emergency Powers Act” now
with TOTAL Dictatorial control, where the media is not only censored
but turned into a tool of propaganda via the same Emergency Powers
Act – STILL at this point people are asleep, or in total denial.
They converse in a “thought-frame of consciousness” "a fake dialectic" a totally artificial “talk
speak mindset" devoid of rational foundation, lost in a fantasy of security created for them to keep them from rising up.
Bonhoeffer saw
the apostasy of the Church, its use by the Luciferian power structure. We
are seeing the same thing as the churches, all of them are being
slowing molded into the Ecumenical falsehood of the Scientistic
Dictatorship's new religion. These Luciferians are too smart to openly
battle the good, when they find it is so much easier to corrupt it and
subvert it. Social Justice, and psychological “feelgoodism” have replace the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The newly created slate of scientistic based morals, has taken the place of the moral imperatives of a
Christian life. Now we must acknowledge our slavery to the material, to our biology, to our genetic predispositions.
It is not cynical to recognize lawlessness in
high places when that lawlessness exists. (We have an illegal president, a man with fake birth certificate, fake social security numbers - plural, fake biography, hidden college records, hidden birth records, etc., etc. ad nauseum.) It is not cynical to
recognize godlessness replacing Christ in the denominations of
Christianity, when it is, in fact, so.
Set to win:
The Republican Logo in the George Bush campaigns, with the upside-down Chrysler logo in the middle of the five pointed star, giving the signal that everything is good for business.
Set to lose:
The Republican Logo used by McCain's Campaign and now Romney's with the five point star turned into a satanic symbol.
Satan upside down Pentagram - google it, it is the head of the Goat.
This stuff is not by accident, every symbol is set for its effect. This year for the Republicans it is to once again set up a straw man for Obama to blow over.

Pushing the Gay Agenda in the Greek Archdiocese

Globally, Orthodox Christianity is known to be highly conservative concerning what is frequently referred to as "traditional Christian morality." In Europe, for example, more progressive and liberal elements of society spare no effort in attacking the Church as a bastion of traditionalist repression, especially concerning homosexuality.
Ironically, however, in the United States an image seems to be growing of the Orthodox Church as more liberal towards sexual sins than, for example, the Evangelical denominations. Quite a few people, judging by chatter on the Internet, are getting the impression that Orthodoxy is similar to the Episcopal Church in respect to moral issues.
Part of this confusion stems from the book Same-Sex Unions in Premodern Europe by John Boswell. This book, published in 1994, asserted that certain Greek Orthodox medieval rituals were really ecclesiastical blessings of homosexual unions. Boswell especially singled out the Greek Orthodox Rite known as adelphopoiesis or "brother-making," as one such example.
Since the book’s publication, Orthodox sources have roundly debunked Boswell. (One such effort can be found here.) Even so, a casual stroll through Google will find Boswell’s claims widely repeated on Websites associated with homosexual issues. (LGBT sites in the common parlance of today.) The fiction created by Boswell is useful for sexually active homosexuals, both within the Orthodox Church and without. Even those who don’t know much about the Orthodox Church, still understand its great antiquity and authority. By putting forward a claim that the ancient Christian faith celebrated homosexual unions, activists are attempting to invalidate any current opposition to their plans for forcing churches to fully recognize their lifestyle.
While this book has been useful to homosexual activists, its damage to the reputation of the Holy Orthodox Church has been largely contained. It’s an obscure book written by an academic and open to easy debunking, so the American mainstream has remained mostly unaware of its erroneous conclusions. Of far more concern is the current clique of Greek Orthodox bloggers centered around The Huffington Post.
There are three people to discuss, but let us begin with Michael Huffington. Michael Huffington is the son of Roy Michael Huffington, the founder of an oil and natural gas company. After completing his education, he served as vice chairman of the family-owned energy business called HUFFCO from 1976 to 1990. Needless to say, he isseriously rich.
Huffington met Arianna Stassinopoulos at a 1985 party hosted by Ann Getty in San Francisco. Born in Greece, Arianna had made a name for herself in the United States as a leftist. She had even been personally involved with uber leftist and California Governor Jerry Brown. Michael and Arianna married in 1986.
Huffington himself had always had an interest in politics. In 1968, he was a summer intern for freshman Congressman George H.W. Bush in Washington, D.C. In 1986, President Ronald Reagan appointed Huffington as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Negotiations Policy with responsibility for conventional arms control negotiations.
In 1992, Huffington was elected to the House of Representatives from California’s 22nd District (Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties). After one term in the House, Huffington used $28 million dollars of his own money in a bid for a seat in the United States Senate. At the time, Huffington’s was the most expensivecampaign in a non-presidential election in American history. Huffington lost in the general election by 1.9 percent of the vote to Dianne Feinstein.
Huffington divorced his wife in 1997. By that time, Huffington had joined the Orthodox Church. In 1998, he came out publicly as a bisexual. In an article on his ex-wife’s blog, The Huffington Post, he told of coming to terms with both his sexual orientation and his Orthodoxy:
During my marriage, I became an Orthodox Christian after having been Episcopalian for over a decade. Through the Orthodox faith, I came to realize for the first time in my life that God had created me in His image, and that His image encompassed bisexual and gay people. Two years after I became Orthodox, and one year after my divorce, I decided to come out to the public as bisexual. This was made into a big deal by the press because I had recently been in the national spotlight as a Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate race in California. I did it solely on my own volition. And I did it joyfully because I knew God loved me for who I was, and wanted me to live an open and truthful life.
Please understand this very clearly. Michael Huffington is not a man stricken with same-sex attraction who is quietly struggling, by the grace of God, to live a chaste life. Rather, Michael Huffington has decided that it is perfectly acceptable to remain a communing member of the Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church while having illicit sex not only with women, but also with men.
Huffington claims there are quite a few other Orthodox Christians that agree with him on this. From the same article, Huffington describes how his parish took the news of his bisexuality:
My experience with my own church had been gratifying. The article about my coming out was printed on the front page of the metro section of the Sunday Los Angeles Times. As I went to church that day, I was fully aware that most of my fellow parishioners and priests had read the story. To my utter amazement, not one person said anything negative to me or to our priests. Instead, I was patted on the back, and told by straight men how courageous I was. They congratulated me for being brave enough to tell the truth. This was Christianity at its best. Christ was indeed among us that day.
Following his own personal revelation from God about bisexuality, Huffington decided to devote his considerable fortune to producing movies to help convince others that an unrepentant homosexual lifestyle is perfectly acceptable to God. The most recent, and well-known of these films, is a documentary called For the Bible Tells Me So which was released in 2007.
We meet five Christian families, each with a gay or lesbian child. Parents talk about their marriages and church-going, their children’s childhood and coming out, their reactions, and changes over time. The stories told by these nine parents and four adult children alternate with talking heads – Protestant and Jewish theologians – and with film clips of fundamentalist preachers and pundits and news clips of people in the street. They discuss scripture and biblical scholarship. A thesis of the film is that much of Christianity’s homophobia represents a misreading of scripture, a denial of science, and an embrace of quack psychology. The families call for love.
This documentary is widely-known. The "gay" press covered it, as did the mainstream media. Interestingly, while Huffington’s film viciously attacks the Religious Right, it is silent concerning Orthodoxy. This gives the impression that Orthodoxy is not on the same page as Evangelicals concerning homosexuality.
When not funding films or blogging, Huffington is also busy using his checkbook to directly further his ideas. In 2007, Huffington gave $5 million to Loyola Marymount University to establish the Huffington Ecumenical Institute to promote Catholic-Orthodox dialogue and understanding.
Michael Huffington gathered with Orthodox and Roman Catholic priests at the ceremony celebrating his endowment of the institute that bears his name at LMU.
As he said of the new institute, "I feel very passionate about this project, because my dream is that someday I’ll get to see members of the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church be able to take Communion in each other’s churches."
Loyola Marymount is a Jesuit institution with about 5,000 undergraduates and 3,000 graduate students. The institute that bears Huffington’s name has been busy sponsoring ecumenical dialogues and other encounters among Catholic and Orthodox theologians, religious leaders and church members. In January 2009, it facilitated the award of an honorary doctorate in humane letters to Archbishop Demetrios of America.
Michael Huffington was there to stand alongside the Archbishop at the award ceremony, and his name was featured prominently in the official press release. You can read the press release about the event on the Greek Archdiocese Website by clicking here.
Huffington seems to make quite an effort to keep reminding the world that he is Greek Orthodox. His religion is almost always mentioned in articles about him, even when focusing on secular topics such as his political advocacy.
It is difficult to believe that this is a coincidence. Constant repetition of his religious affiliation by Huffington, and his press enablers, seems designed to foster the impression that the Orthodox Church accepts him, his lifestyle of homosexual sex, and his Theological views. So far, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese in the United States seems to be reinforcing this impression through its silence.
Part of Huffington’s fortune went to his ex-wife Arianna in the divorce. She used this to found TheHuffington Post, a leading leftist blogging site, where the Huffington article previously quoted appeared. Arianna herself is considered to be an intellectual light-weight, so her own views on religion and politics are discounted by most people. But starting in late 2006, she scored a huge coup when Frank Schaeffer started blogging for her.
Orthodox Christians know Frank Schaeffer as a former conservative Evangelical whose book Dancing Alone sold well and was very influential in bringing many people (including this writer) to Orthodoxy. The world knows Frank Schaeffer as the son of prominent religious leader and Protestant Theologian Francis Schaeffer.
Schaeffer began his blogging career on The Huffington Post by mostly excoriating the Bush Administration on its foreign policy. There were quite a number of conservatives and libertarians who felt similarly, so this was not really exceptional in itself. His disgust with the Bush record, and his anger at religious conservatives in general, eventually caused him to endorse Obama. This was a step most Theologically conservative Orthodox were unwilling to take. While I disagreed with him on his pro-Obama stance, in a blog written last November, I actually defended the purity of his intentions.
However, the longer Schaeffer has been blogging for The Huffington Post, the more belligerent his blogs have gotten concerning traditional Christian morality. He is now prone to introduce his blogs by stating, "I’m pro-Obama, pro-gay rights."
Let’s suppose for a nutty moment that the evangelical/Mormon/conservative Roman Catholic/ultra-Orthodox Jewish and Muslim view of such issues as abortion, homosexuality, marriage (gay or otherwise) is correct. For one crazy instant let’s even assume that God wants everyone in America to live as if all the injunctions of the Old Testament, New Testament, and Koran, when it comes to sexual moral behavior or not eating shellfish, are to be practiced literally, up and to including the stoning to death of homosexuals. How then to best get back to some sort of Promised Land of rectitude and God-pleasing ways?
Like Huffington, Schaeffer constantly reminds readers of his blog that he is Greek Orthodox. If you read his blogs, you will quickly notice that when singling out religious groups for abuse concerning their traditionalism, he omits the Orthodox. In the same blog in which the above passage was written, Schaeffer wrote the following:
Long after I left that evangelical/hard right subculture I converted to the Greek Orthodox Church (in 1990) and so I’m also getting to a few "how can you support the abortionist Obama" hate e-mails from some of the more right wing and politicized members of the Orthodox community. (Most of them are converts who brought their former evangelical and/or Roman Catholic right wing politics into their new church.)
I will be the first to agree that there is an element of truth to this statement. Some converts to Orthodoxy do, in fact, bring attitudes, ideas, and Theology into the Orthodox Church which are not appropriate. However, sexual morality is no different in Orthodoxy than in Roman Catholicism. Schaeffer knows this, but appears to be intentionally obscuring this point, pretending that the "real Orthodox" are somehow more tolerant of sexual sin than other traditional faith communities.
Michael Huffington and Frank Schaeffer, united by the blogsite of Ariana Huffington, are doing a great deal to undermine the witness of the Orthodox Faith in this country. The misimpression which their efforts is fostering among Americans simply must be corrected.
It must be corrected for the sake of men and women, laboring under the burden of same-sex attraction, who may feel validated in their sin. It must be corrected for the sake of the many millions who are seeking the true path of Christ, but may turn away if they believe the Orthodox Church is only the Episcopal Church with more ritual. And it must be corrected for the simple fact that it does an injustice to the Gospel.
The Orthodox Church recognizes marriage as the only moral and spiritually appropriate context for sexual relations. Thus, all other forms of sexual activity such as fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, pornography, all forms of prostitution, and similar forms of behavior are sins that are inappropriate for the Orthodox Christian. Marriage is only conducted and recognized in the Orthodox Church as taking place between a man and a woman. Same-sex marriages are a contradiction in terms. The Orthodox Church does not allow for same-sex marriages.
Individual members of the Greek Orthodox Church, such as Michael Huffington or Frank Schaeffer, may feel differently. This is regrettable, but irrelevant. The teaching of the Orthodox Christian Church is clear, explicit, and timeless. It is the same today as it was on the Day of Pentecost, and will be the same forever.
Nor is the Greek Orthodox teaching on this topic in any way different from that of the other Orthodox jurisdictions in the U.S. In a Statement on Moral Crisis in Our Nation, allthe Orthodox Bishops in the United Statesmade their position very clear:
The Orthodox Church cannot and will not bless same-sex unions. Whereas marriage between a man and a woman is a sacred institution ordained by God, homosexual union is not. Like adultery and fornication, homosexual acts are condemned by Scripture (Romans 1:24-27; 1 Corinthians 6:10; 1 Timothy 1:10). This being said, however, we must stress that persons with a homosexual orientation are to be cared for with the same mercy and love that is bestowed by our Lord Jesus Christ upon all of humanity. All persons are called by God to grow spiritually and morally toward holiness.
That statement was published in 2003. More recently, the Orthodox Bishops in California (where Michael Huffington lives) published a statement in support of Prop 8 which was intended to eliminate Same-sex marriage. Here is part of that statement:
Therefore, we, the Orthodox bishops of California, call upon the faithful, as responsible and concerned citizens of California, to overturn this ruling by the California Supreme Court by voting in favor of Proposition 8 this coming November. This proposition is a regrettably necessary measure to restore the true definition of marriage in the eyes of our state. A state that believes same-sex couplings constitute "marriage" implicitly – and sooner or later, explicitly – denies the role of the Church and all faiths that adhere to traditional values in public life. Please exercise your citizenship and vote in November. The passage of Proposition 8 is an imperative.
In his blog, Frank Schaeffer blasted "Religious Right" supporters of Prop 8, without ever once mentioning that the ruling bishops in California of his own Church firmly supported that very same voter initiative. I doubt it was because he was unaware of this fact.
Above all, one thing must be kept squarely in mind when looking at the teaching of the Orthodox Church on the nature of human sexuality and the nature of marriage. There is no controlling authority in the Orthodox Church which has the ability to alter the teaching of the Church concerning these matters. Revelation in the Orthodox Church is considered fixed and final – it can not change. There simply can not be a valid debate within Orthodoxy on the questions of what constitutes marriage or on the nature of human sexuality. You either accept the teaching of the Church, or you reject it. There is no one to lobby, no one to convince, no one to appeal to. This is in stark contrast to other religious bodies, such as the Episcopalians, who gather every so often to figure out what they believe now.
This does not mean, of course, that Orthodoxy is not vastly different in tone and focus from the Evangelical denominations that comprise the "Religious Right." This fact is made clear by the following excerpt from Father Thomas Hopko’s book Orthodoxy and Same Sex Attraction:
When we enter the arena of the Church and the struggle against sin, we are no longer labeled with our sin. This is true of heterosexual sin, homosexual sin, or any other sin. We are not defined by the gender of the person for whom we have a sexual desire, but by Christ. The Church is only concerned with who you are becoming in Christ through the practice of the virtues, regardless of your besetting sin.
We are not to be labeled by our sin. We can and should rise above our sin, not wallow in it, while pretending that our sin is somehow a permanent part of our character defining us for all time. That is a powerful message of hope that is the true message of the Orthodox Church. That message has been somewhat clouded, but it is time to get that message out loudly and clearly.

The "normalcy bias" is in full display and people are totally unable to entertain the reality of the events of the last decade and particularly of this last year.(Normalcy Bias)
Here are the
references where we get this idea of the mark of the beast.
"All
people were forced to put a mark on their right hand or forehead.
Whether they were powerful or weak, rich or poor, free people or
slaves, they all had to have this mark, or else they could not
buy or sell anything. This mark stood for the name of the beast and
for the number of its name.
Then I saw
something that looked like a glass sea mixed with fire, and people
were standing on it. They were the ones who had defeated the beast
and the idol and the number that tells the name of the beast. God had
given them harps, and they were singing the song that his
servant Moses and the Lamb had sung. They were singing, "Lord
God All-Powerful, you have done great and marvelous things. You are
the ruler of all nations, and you do what is right and fair. Lord,
who doesn't honor and praise your name? You alone are holy, and all
nations will come and worship you, because you have shown that you
judge with fairness."
"Finally, a
third angel came and shouted: Here is what will happen if you worship
the beast and the idol and have the mark of the beast on your hand or
forehead. You will have to drink the wine that God gives to
everyone who makes him angry. You will feel his mighty anger, and you
will be tortured with fire and burning sulfur, while the holy angels
and the Lamb look on. If you worship the beast and the idol and
accept the mark of its name, you will be tortured day and night. The
smoke from your torture will go up forever and ever, and you will
never be able to rest. God's people must learn to endure. They
must also obey his commands and have faith in Jesus."
"The first
angel emptied his bowl on the earth. At once ugly and painful sores
broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and worshiped the
idol."
"But the
beast was captured and so was the false prophet. This is the same
prophet who had worked miracles for the beast, so that he could fool
everyone who had the mark of the beast and worshiped the idol. The
beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into a lake of burning
sulfur.
I saw thrones, and
sitting on those thrones were the ones who had been given the right
to judge. I also saw the souls of the people who had their heads cut
off because they had told about Jesus and preached God's message.
They were the same ones who had not worshiped the beast or the idol,
and they had refused to let its mark be put on their hands or
foreheads. They will come to life and rule with Christ for a thousand
years."
There
is the imagery of the Mark of the Beast from the Book of Revelations.
I think the actual physical mark isn't as important as the idolatry
to which a great portion of mankind has already bowed.
I have no doubt whatsoever that the New World Order, that is, those from diverse groups
who seek the utopian goal of a one would government, which is taking
shape as the Scientistic Dictatorship Elite (SDE), is the mechanism
by which the anti-christ will take control and for a period express
himself as God in a near total domination of humans upon the earth.
Already, very strange things are happening that seem to point to the
total control of the “human animal.” Everything – and I mean
everything is coming under the control of "some entity" and removed
from the power of the individual. More and more things will not and
cannot function unless “sanctioned” by government or corporation.
The chips in our automobiles are a classic example. Automobiles are no longer "independent entities" now they operate at the discretion of both the
government and corporation, and the lines between government and
corporation are now totally blurred, and in the banking world do not exist and have not for one-hundred years next year.
The ObamaCare ruling legally gives total power
over the “human animal” to the state and the massive new taxing
authority gained by the Roberts Court Precedent June 28th,
2012 (a day that will live in infamy) give unlimited coercive powers
to the state. I read an article recently where more and more places
are requiring people the “register their gardens” and people are being fined for producing their own food, that is operating unregistered gardens. At this point
in time it would be difficult to name an object you use, a medicine
you need, food you eat, clothes you wear, and on and on that cannot, at a whim, be withheld by corporate/government. Even the "certificates of ownership" we keep thinking that the "certificate" represent "ownership" if a fraud. It represents only the rental of the object from the state. The state holds actual ownership - and this is the situation NOW.
When Darwin
suggested that the Human Being was beast only, and humanity began to
bow to that Idol, hundreds of millions dishonored God by bowing to "the beast only" denying that there was anything of “the creator” in them. For the Christians and Jews who accepted the premise that they "spontaneously generated from mud" as is Evolution's theory, they took to new dimensions the phrase, "Having a form of Godliness, but denying the Power thereof." They accepted the mindset
Saint Paul describes in detail in the First Chapter of the Book of
Romans. They have increasing come to wear the result of that idolatry in their persons, becoming “Beast Only," that is, displaying progressively less civilized rational behavior and more bestial slavery - that is, slavery to their genetic proclivities. What else could cause the insanity where today mere buggery is raised to the level of "sacrament." The vast majority who have already accepted the premise that they are beast only, will find it natural to be marked as such. As buggery-as-sacrament demonstrates to any sane person, they have lost the ability to distinguish between human and inhuman, natural and unnatural. Already, there is massive discrimination against those who refuse to be beast only, who dare witness the mere possibility of a Creator. One need not look further than the praying NFL player, and the vicious slander he endures to see the animal state of the masses. Also programed into Face Book, Google, search engines and popular blog sites are servo-programs, artificial intelligence, reading content and promoting the beast's agenda and censoring truth.
For we who know we are more than mere beast, and who will never accept to be marked as beasts, it means that for a period we
will suffer horrible physical privations. But like the Protomartyr
Stephen was filled with the Holy Spirit and witnessed Christ as the
stones hit him, so in the course of physical privation those faithful
to Christ shall see the ministry of angels.
I am proud to be one of those clergy who signed the Manhattan Declaration and will stand by it to my dying breath. The Scientistic Dictatorship Elite that has taken control of our Society and is bringing us the New World Order, is also at work inside the Orthodox Church as well, pushing it toward the same Abyss of Apostasy, which has taken the Church of England and the Episcopal Church in the U.S., several main line Protestant denominations and a huge segment of the Evangelical movement as well. It is a move toward moral relativism and the Marxist philosophy of Social Justice - May God Have Mercy On Us All. Metropolitan Jonah - MANY YEARS! - MANY YEAR! MANY YEARS!
Of course, it is “politics” when an Orthodox leader defends the church’s doctrines in public. It is not “politics” when liberal activists inside the church work to silence the voice of the church, while quietly lobbying in seminaries and elsewhere to redefine those same doctrines. Gosh, that logic sounds rather familiar.
This move of the Orthodox Church in America, to oust Metropolitan Jonah from his seat as Head of the Council of Bishops of the OCA, signals to me that the OCA is making a statement the breaks my heart. It is another signal of the apostasy of Christianity which continues in America. Metropolitan Jonah as a comfort to every Christian in this country who genuinely knows Christ and seek to express in according to the Apostolic Tradition of Christianity. The group that has taken him down represent a secularize Christianity unable to speak with a clear voice on social and moral issues - that is the secularists. The OCA represents by far not the largest Orthodox jurisdiction in America, but the only "Autocephalous" (that is self headed - not governed by a foreign Patriarchate) - Metropolitan Jonah is a hero in my book. My grief is more than seeing a friend abused - and the Bishops of the OCA have literally abused +Jonah from the first day of his tenure as Metropolitan, but the sad "truth" it signals about where a segment of American Orthodoxy is headed. This article explains that divergent path pretty well. May God have mercy on those whose eyes have lost the link between Truth and Liberty.
The Struggle For Life - Volume OneI want to follow Father Thomas Hopko's advice and "listen to the science." At the same time I will listen and comment "as a skeptic knowing that pure science, that is observation and hypothesis, quickly becomes scientism which is a religion that creates a culture of death." So along the way I will be pointing out where science pretends to the status of the "metaphysical" and becomes "scientism." I will also point out errors and propaganda. We will use the lectures of Robert J. Wyman, Professor of Biology, Yale University. Wyman is also the Director of Undergraduate Studies and the Program Director at Howard Hughes Medical Institute Undergraduate Science Education Program. He teaches Yale’s only course on population issues: Global Problems of Population Growth. People come from all around the world to hear his lectures and he is one of the foremost "experts" on the subject. His primary discipline is "bio-neurology" but 40 years ago became interested in bio-demographics, the evolution of populations and culture's effect upon population growth. He is a member of the Leadership Council, Planned Parenthood of Connecticut (PPC) as well as a former board member: PPC, Connecticut NARAL, Urban League of New Haven, Center for Children’s Environmental Literature, and Horizon Communications. Wyman received an AB from Harvard College and an MS and PhD from the University of California, Berkeley."
Dr Wyman's area of expertise is the sexual/economic/cultural means of the survival of the various species, and the implications of that upon human population. In his presentations, he details the monumental struggle species endure just to survive as species. Of course, as is all Natural Science, his perspective is from an "Evolutionary Perspective". Yet, many things he says in the series refute Darwin and the "Survival of The Fittest" etc. I hate the word 'fascinating' because of its etymology, meaning "hypnosis." However, in the modern jargon, meaning very interesting, what he exposes about the herculean struggle for mere survival of species is indeed "fascinating."
The Struggle For Life - Volume TwoThis hour is interesting about the social and sexual behavior of higher primates. I have to note that he mentions that Jane Goodall's first book, touting the peaceful society of the Chimpanzee was totally wrong on that point. She was caught up in an age when anthropology had gone completely off the rails and produced a body of work for more than a decade that in truth was based upon the anti-vietnam war, peace movement's pacifist sentimentality. I have a collection of the insane articles publish in reputable scientific periodicals. The psychological establishment latched onto the mythology of the anthropologist and soiled themselves almost as badly. Suddenly the Buddhist leaders like the Dali Lama and Thich Nhat Hanh the Vietnamese Buddhist leader became celebrities in the west. Yoga and transcendental meditation became the rage. It was a decade of constant comedy.
Jane, of course, discovered on her on and to her deep grief that her utopian ideal was just wrong, that chimpanzees live in colonies where any imbalance of power between adjacent colonies of chimpanzees was answer with steady aggression until all the males of the weaker colony are killed, the young left to starve, some female taken, some rejected and left to their own fate. She and others also record the fact that outside the colony the chimps simply wither and die prematurely. Rather than a peaceful utopia, it is a struggle for survival, a balance of power in peace, and then war when that balance is interrupted.
The Struggle For Life - Volume ThreeNow the lectures turn to effects of biology on sociology, religion, and demographics. Demographics and thus social-Darwinism has been tied to Darwinism from the very beginning.
The Reverend Thomas Robert Malthus Fellow of the Royal Science Academy (13 or 14 February 1766 – 23 or 29 December 1834 was an English scholar, influential in political economy and demography. Malthus popularized the economic theory of rent.
Malthus has become widely known for his theories about population and its increase or decrease in response to various factors. The six editions of his An Essay on the Principle of Population, published from 1798 to 1826, observed that sooner or later population gets checked by famine and disease. He wrote in opposition to the popular view in 18th-century Europe that saw society as improving and in principle as perfectible. William Godwin and the Marquis de Condorcet, for example, believed in the possibility of almost limitless improvement of society. In a more complex way, so did Jean-Jacques Rousseau, whose notions centered on the goodness of man and the liberty of citizens bound only by the social contract—a form of popular sovereignty.
The Struggle For Life - Volume FourI couldn't help but notice this biological/demographer's bow to the Church (without admitting it). He acknowledges that in the pre-modern period that "we have pretty good data from Europe, unlike the rest of the world." How could that be? Since THE CHURCH dominated Europe? Oops, of course that is right. The data he is referencing, better than anywhere else on earth, is FROM the Church records. Birth, Marriage and Death records were recorded in the Cathedral Church records. The Cathedral Church is where the Bishop kept his "office." When we use the word "Cathedral" instead of church building or merely church, it means the "seat of the Bishop's Authority." In theory and in fact, the Bishop's "Cathedral" could be a lowly setting and not a monument of grand architecture at all. My Bishop's "Cathedral" is a humble church in a poor neighborhood of Detroit. In the south a humble small "Church of God" would be as impressive.
The Struggle For Life - Volume Five.I have to respect this lecture where the decline of the birth rates in Industrialized countries is treated statistically and not politically. The political implications would seem obvious to me absent the displacement and destructive power possible via technology. I have to agree with the lecturer's logic when he state again and again, we don't know what is going to happen vis a vis population trends and the future.
The Struggle For Life - Volume SixDr Wyman reacts to the word "designed." "When you say designed do you mean designed consciously?" Without allowing the student to respond he responds for him saying, "No, that I think the people had no idea. People obey various cultural rules, cultural rules happen randomly. You can watch - - anthropologist watch cultures and culture is a very flexible thing and it changes fairly frequently. If that change works people retain it and the whole culture works. If that culture doesn't work, either people change it again or the culture disappears. Most cultures over time have disappeared. Cultural evolution seems to follow pretty much the same rules as biological evolution. Almost random change - - in biology you have random changes in the genome, the cosmic ray hits you or you smoke a cigarette, or something like that, and base pair changes or a piece of chromosome jumps out and goes back in, inserts itself, a lot of different things. These are mostly bad changes but very rarely there's a good change. If it's a good change presumably that individual will have more children and so there's more copies of that genome in the next generation and so on. You know the basic story of evolution. Cultural evolution can be the same people change culture on the basis of fads and who knows what. We've had a lot of evidence that even the great reduction in fertility that we've seen all over the world, has a lot of aspects of a fad. That once a small group adopts it everybody looks around and likes the idea and fertility drops like a stone, way before and rather independently of economic changes and educational changes, and urbanization changes and a lot of the lectures have shown that. That something is adopted, for maybe unclear reasons, by a small group, people like it, it's like the kind of clothes that you wear or something, there's no rationality to it, but if it works it gets embedded in the culture. So, no, I don't think there's any evidence that any of these practices were put into place for the purpose that we now impute to them, but they're practices that worked for that culture within the rest of their ecological and cultural context, and so it persisted."
The Struggle For Life - Volume SevenIn this Lecture Dr Wyman further soft-soaps Chinese birth policy. In all fairness to him, China is just a statistical sub-set, and he is not viewing any of this from a "humanitarian" perspective, but from a "post-human" perspective. The anti-human bias and reality of the post-human is obvious and is plastered over most of the work of Yale's present day "natural sciences."
Dr Wyman shares the story of HIV/AIDS and other diseases being spread in China via blood donation, which included the strange detail that after particular components of the blood are harvested that the blood is "pooled" literally mixed together, taken back to the villages and towns where it was donated (purchased) and given by needle, back to the people who donated so that they will be able to donate more blood quicker. Wyman states that this disease spreading enterprise is accomplished by "corrupt officials" without the slightest suspicion that it might be a policy of repression of certain districts and populations by China's government, a quiet genocide. I love the naivete these "skeptical scientists" who suspend skepticism only where a leftist or communist government is concerned. Remember his paranoia concerning Republicans and the Census, yet, a massive policy of blood transmission sure to spread deadly disease conducted by government entities in a communist country raises no suspicion whatsoever. "Just ignorance, these people have no idea of sterilization." Amazing, but rather I suspect convenient naivete.
Darwinists are nothing if not consistently inconsistent. Minute 8:50 forward Dr Wyman argues against himself. As he makes his point that "rich people have fewer children" he tells the story of a Professor from Kenya: One year I taught this course, and there was a guy in it, a somewhat older guy who was actually already a professor in Kenya, he had come to Yale for more education and he took this course. After the course he told me that he was just blown away, that he had never realized, coming from Kenya, that poor people had more children than rich people. Actually he put it the other way, he had no idea that one of the aspects of being rich was that you have fewer children, and he was a college professor, or a university professor in Kenya. Now if you are bored enough to have actually read and listened to this material you know that Dr Wyman made a big argument and claimed all kinds of sociological data that some "cultures" were having less children because of the influence of Western media. He pictured every shanty shack with satellite dishes and everyone watching the modern western family "with two children" and wanting then "two children." That was part of the content of his little speech about the "evolution" of culture predicated upon "fad." Apparently the upper class in Kenya didn't get the memo.
I would have to see the studies that confirm that none of the abstinence programs have had any effect on teenage pregnancy. I'm certain this is not the case. The sociologists said that Ronald Reagan's "Just Say No" drug policy campaign was ineffective but as it turned out it was quite effective and they were wrong. What I find amazing about this presentation is this: Dr Wyman will argue that changes in culture can have a huge effect upon the birthrate. Here he argues that there are no changes in the culture vis a vis teenage pregnancy in the U.S. and the drop in teen pregnancy of 1 percent per year since birth control was legalized is solely the result of birth control and abortion. I was suspicious of the chart and the idea. Then I noticed that he was using data from 1994, to make his point. He is lecturing in 2009. Why the 15 year old data? Here is why.
And notice how matter-of-fact and unemotionally Dr Wyman states these staggering figures. And he questions? "Has anyone changed their minds about abortion?" As you know if you have watched the lectures, there was nothing in the content of the lecture that would challenge a pro-lifer to become pro-abortion, or a pro-abortionist to gain greater appreciation for life. So again we have to assume that the edited content contained such material. He also made mention in one lecture of a second guest lecturer or a lecture by a graduate student, he didn't define it, just said in "x" person's presentation (I don't recall the name"). Now if you doubt that even a boring lecture on demographics in the Darwinian/Evolutionist post-human world has become an "evangelical event" for the new religion of Scientism, let us set this dry, unemotional presentation of 40 to 50 million abortions a year, against Dr Wyman's first hour where he is beating the drum of abuse of women, and sucking-in like a talented con man the female students, and especially those who are feminist, and in "women's studies." Deftly, he is also disarming those who hold pro-life views making them think he is sympathetic to their view. Also remember what I've say consistently about the priests of Scientism, "if nothing else, they are consistently inconsistent."
The Reverend William Ryerson is Dr Wyman's guest speaker for this hour. But before we go to the propaganda methods of Ryerson, I want you to see a parallel paganism the "Evolutionary Transition" mythology has fostered. The fellow in the video below is Michael Brownlee. He is not a clergyman in any "formal" religion, rather he is an evangelist/propagandist for one of the "denominations" of the new Religion of Scientism, which we have been exposing in these lectures. These evangelist are promoting what they are calling "deep transition." There is nothing new about it. It is the perennial ancient gnostic paganism newly packaged in the language of "science." Sadly many Christians do not truly grasp the reality and fullness of Christianity, and the amazing ontology Christian teaching (Tradition) and sacred scripture contain, so that in their broken theology they are prey for the likes of Michael Brownlee, William Ryerson, Dr. Wyman and other.
Remember Michael Brownlee's rant, saying: Surely each one of us in this room has been implicated and is culpable in our shared crisis.
The "shared crisis" was stated in a list of "peck" capacities and over population causing "shortages."
This mythology of "shortages" is a tool of the post-humanists also. Remember Brownlee mentioned a list of "peak" things, "peak oil production" "peak food production" "peak carbon emissions" all pointing to "peak population" etc. Ryerson and Wyman have also referenced "peak commodity" scenarios.
Here is famed actor Richard Attenborough narrating a horror scenario of peck population shortages and how man is such a horrible burden upon the earth.
Watch this if you are interested, but understand that most of what it says is false.
I have to say that this is about the strangest lecture I have every witnessed. When Wyman lectured on Abortion two lectures ago, that was sickening the way 800 million abortions in 20 years was touted as a good thing, "merely a backup for birth control."
In this lecture Dr Wyman dismisses "human personhood" as a non-event and further tries to make that assumption "rational, scientific and religiously reasonable." Dr Wyman begins the lecture by setting up an easy straw man, using a quote from, columnist George Will, "It is a biological fact not a theological postulate, that such life is a continuum from conception to death."Then he quotes a pro-life letter to the editor of the New York Times, "It is a scientific fact, as any basic biology text will confirm that life does begin at conception. The fetus is a live human being, distinct from, while dependent upon its mother. it deserves the full protection of its rights."
"Let us not pretend what we are dealing with here. We are dealing with nothing short of the Doctor Josef Mengele-Joseph Goebbels-like planners and practitioners of mass death. Where the NAZIS managed a few million, Planned Parenthood, the IMF, the World Bank, the U.S. Government and other national governments cooperating with the U.N. have managed what has to be by this year 2012, ONE AND A HALF BILLION abortions since 1982!"
And no telling the number of deaths by other means. People keep looking for the "great culling" of humanity and it is already underway. Courses like Dr Wyman's and the work of thousands of other academics and planners, bogus reports by official "scientistic bodies" are all for the "legal scientistic cover" for the Eugenic campaign that is currently underway, worldwide. The hellish, anti-life, culture of death, post-human dimensions of this boggles the mind. Truthfully we cannot comprehend it. These people are truly post-human, have themselves become beasts and instead of murder by brutal fang and massive bloodshed, murder by disease, starvation, privation, and abortion, wearing the white lab coats while causing the diseases, and wearing the casual clothes of the professors, the Priests of Scientism, to give the "doctors" cover.
